FIGHTINGCocks

The Fighting Cocks were created on July 4th 2011 and are a proud member of the LB/OC Surf & Sun Softball League, a 501(c)(3) a Southern California sports organization. The Fighting Cocks were formed to create an active and competitive sports environment for the LGBT community. Even though we have LGBT players on our roster, we also have a strong number of straight players.

Currently we have 14 players who reside throughout Long Beach and Orange County communities. We play our league games in Orange County, but also compete in local, regional and national level tournaments (NAGAAA World Series). The NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series (GSWS) is held each year in one of the 45 member cities. In 2015 the GSWS will be held in Columbus, OH and in 2016 will be held in Austin, TX. In 2015 the Fighting Cocks will be focused on representing Long Beach & Orange County to compete in the Columbus, OH. NAGAAA World Series.
